On Saturday 25th November, a group from Christ Church attended the Anglicare warehouse in Villawood for a morning of hamper packing for Toys n Tucker. 

This year we packed hampers for the residents of Anglicare’s housing project which provides accommodation for over 600 women who find themselves experiencing housing insecurity. 

In the hampers, they will receive food and information about the message of Christmas and ways to get in touch with local churches this Christmas & beyond!

Thanks to generous donations from our members our Community Care team was able to pack 60 hampers for Liverpool South Anglican Church!

As a church we also collected 26 boxes of items for the general Toys n Tucker collection, to be distributed by Anglicare as needed.

Praise God for the generosity of our members and for the opportunity to be a physical collection site again – the first time since COVID! 

It would be great if we could continue to pray for the people receiving hampers and for opportunities for them to be loved and cared for this Christmas.
